Job Description : Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the following posts:

Jr. Engineer-I (Electrical ) (JEN): 918 posts
(Current-879, Backlog-39) (UR-455, SC-144, ST-100, OBC-180)
Age : 21-35 years as on 31/3/09
Pay Band : Rs.9300-34800 Gr. Pay Rs.3200
Qualification : Bachelor of Engineer in Electrical branch with 60% marks or AMIE (Electrical) with 55% marks

Technical Helper : 993 posts
(Current-948, Backlog (Electrician/ SBA)-44, Backlog (Surveyor) – 1)
Age : 18-28 years as on 31/3/09
Pay Band: Rs.5200-20200 Gr. Pay Rs.1850/-
Qualification : Secondary pass and ITI/ NAC (NCVT/ SCVT) in Surveyor/ Electrician/ Power Electrician/ SBa trade with 60% marks.

For first two years, the candidates will be posted on Probationary Trainee and will be paid consolidated pay of Rs.10000/- for Jr. Engineer and Rs.5900/- for Technical Helper.
