CIMP has been set up in the year 2008, with an exclusive agenda to be a centre of excellence in management education and research, is an initiative of the Government of Bihar. Its courses, curriculum and pedagogy are designed on the lines of IIMs with great emphasis on the rigour in courses and quality of delivery mechanisms. CIMP has been getting continuous support from IIMA and its alumni, besides those from IITs, IRMA and such leading Institutions.

Assistant Professor
Ph.D or FPM with good academic record.
At least 3 years of industrial/research/teaching experience.
2.
Associate Professor
Ph.D or FPM with good academic record.
A Minimum of 8 years of industrial /research/ teaching experience, of which at least
3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
3.
Professor
Ph.D or FPM with good academic record.
A minimum of 10 years of industrial/research / teaching experience, of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
4.
Academic Associate
Master’s Degree in an appropriate branch with good academic record.
Candidates with teaching/ research experience in leading management institutions would be given preference. Candidates pursuing their Ph.D in management can also apply.

* Salary similar to IIMA, in addition to this, faculty earns through consultancy.
* Faculty from other national institutions such as IIMs can come on leave/ deputation for shorter periods.
* Faculty from other foreign institutions /business schools can come for shorter periods.
* Institute follows reservation policy.

Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad is one of the lead Centres of
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS).
SAC focuses on design of space borne instruments for terrestrial and
planetary missions of ISRO and development and operationalisation of space
technology for national development. The applications cover communication,
broadcasting, navigation, disaster monitoring, meteorology, oceanography,
environment monitoring and natural resources survey. SAC designs and
develops all the transponders for the INSAT and GSAT series of
communication satellites and the optical and microwave sensors for IRS
series of earth observation satellites. Further SAC develops ground transmit
and receive systems and date / image processing systems. SAC has highly
sophisticated payload design and integration laboratories and facilities for
electronic and mechanical fabrication, environmental tests and image
processing and analysis. Campus library of SAC is the finest in western
region. SAC is also actively involved in imparting training to scientists and
engineers from the Asia Pacific region through the nine months PG diploma
programs of the UN-CSSTEAP.

SAC has made pioneering contributions in the field of agriculture, forestry,
coastal zone management, urban planning, snow and glacier studies,
oceanography and atmospheric studies. SAC has developed concept and
techniques for pre-harvest estimation of production of major crops under
multi-agency FASAL project, forecasting of potential fishing zones using OCM
and other satellite data, studies of Himalayan glaciers and snow cover and
monitoring of coastal zones using optical as well as microwave remote
sensing data. Methodology for tracking cyclones in terms of direction and
land falls has been developed and used for recent cyclones like Gonu, Nargis
etc. Algorithms have also been developed to derive ocean parameters like
sea surface temperature, wind speed, wave heights etc as well as
atmospheric parameters such as water vapour, cloud liquid water content etc.
Present thrust areas for applications are towards utilization of data from Indian
satellite missions including INSAT-3D, Oceansat-2, Cartosat series RISAT,
Resourcesat-2, Meghatropiques, etc and the planetary mission like
Chandrayaan-1. A Programme on Climate change Research in Terrestrial
environment (PRACRITI) is initiated to study the impact of climate change on
Agriculture System, Himalayan, Cryosphere, Terrestrial Hydrology over India
and Sensor System Studies for Monitoring of Green House Gases.

The Departmental Tests for May 2009 Session (May and November, 2008 Sessions clubbed) will be held by A.P.Public Service Commission from 19-08-2009 to 24-08-2009 at 22 District Head Quaters (except Ranga Reddy District which is clubbed WITH Hyderabad District).

The Commission is inviting the Departmental application from the candidates for May, 2009 session Examinations through ONLINE only. Application Form, Time-Table, Detailed Notification, Instructions to the Candidates and orther full details are available at in the Commission`s Website http://www.apspsc.gov.in

The candidates shall apply Departmental Tests through ON-LINE from 15-06-2009 to 04-07-2009 on payments of Rs.25/- towards Application fee for each Tests, Rs.20/- Publication of results in APPSC Udyoga Samacharam for each Test and Examination Fee prescribed @ Rs.50/- for each paper. After submission of Application through ONLINE, Challan will be generated by the system which alone shall be used and candidates have to pay the fee at any SBI Branches payable to the Secretary, APPSC, Hyderabad.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) invites applications from well qualified candidates for faculty positions at the level of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in various academic departments for its three constituent IIITs located at Basara (Adilabad District), Nuzvid (Krishna District) and Rajiv Knowledge Valley (Kadapa District).

RGUKT has been set up primarily to provide high quality technical education to meritorious rural youth. Admissions to the University are made after Class X ( SSC or equivalent examination) on the basis of marks obtained in that examination. Selection is on the local best model. The University offers a six year integrated B.Tech programme. The first two years of the programme constitute the Pre University Course which is equivalent to the 10+2 (Intermediate) syllabus.

The academic complex at each IIIT is connected by LAN which extends to each student’s desk and a laptop is provided to every student.

Candidates should have an excellent academic record, good communication skills, a commitment to high quality undergraduate and post-graduate education and potential for creative research. The candidates must be motivated to work with students from rural areas.

IIIT provides challenging opportunities for those who would like to excel in teaching and research. It has unique focus on creating a vast pool of talented rural students through innovative blend of modern computer assisted student centric teaching methodologies and the rigor of traditional teaching.

Departments:
Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Business Management, Mathematics and Statistics, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology and Botany), English, Telugu.

Qualifications: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, where relevant, and with a very good academic record throughout.

Experience:

Professor: A minimum of ten years teaching/research/professional experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or an equivalent position in a research organization or industry as on date of application. The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research in a specific are of specialization in terms of guidance of Ph.D. students, strong record of publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, laboratory development and/or other recognized relevant professional activity.

Associate Professor:
A minimum of eight years teaching/ research /professional experience of which 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or an equivalent position in a research organization or industry as on the date of application. The candidate should have demonstrated adequate experience of independent research in terms of guidance of M.Tech and Ph.D. students, publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, laboratory development and/or other recognized relevant professional activity.

Assistant Professor:

A minimum of three years teaching/ research/ professional experience. The candidate should have demonstrated research capabilities in terms of publications in reputed journals and conferences. (Note: The stipulation of a Ph.D. may be relaxed in respect of highly meritorious applicants).

Categories of Appointment:
Two categories of appointments are possible in the University:

* Contract Appointments: These are open to all suitable candidates including motivated retired faculty members of NITS, IITs, IISc and other Universities of repute from India and abroad. The period of contract shall be 2 years and renewable on expiry.
* On Deputation: These are open to motivated faculty members of NITs, IITs and IISc and other Universities of repute from India and abroad.
