Maharashtra SSC 10th Result of 2010 will be released this week
June 08 2010 – Maharashtra Board SSC 2010 Results will be announced soon by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education. According to news sources, Maharashtra Board SSC Results 2010 to be announced this week. Once the Maharashtra SSC Results 2010 announced by the Maharashtra Board, will be published on the official website for Maharashtra Examination Results. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune came into existence on January 1, 1966 to regulate certain matters pertaining to secondary education in the state of Maharashtra, India. The act was amended in 1977 and the name of the Board changed to its present name – The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
The most prominent task of the board is to conduct the SSC and HSC examinations. The exams are conducted in March and results declared in June. In March 2000, 1.44 million students from 13,835 schools gave the SSC examination and over 800,000 students from 3,581 schools/colleges gave the HSC examination.

The State of Jharkhand came into existence on the 15th of November,2000 . An Act to establish the Jharkhand Academic Council was enacted by the Jharkhand State Legislature and assented to by the Governor of the State on 26.12.2003, which was known as Jharkhand Academic Council Act 02.7.2003.

Courses offered: Applications are invited for admission to Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc. (Nautical Science) – 2010
Eligibility: 1 Pass in 10 + 2 examination from a recognized Board/University with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), with not less than 55% marks in PCM aggregate. OR
With Physics as an individual subject in any one of the years of B.Sc., with not less than 50% marks in the final year of B.Sc., from a recognized University provided that the candidate must have passed 10 + 2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board. OR
B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent degree from I.I.T. or from a college recognized by AICTE/UGC/DEC. AND
2 Should have passed with not less than 50% marks in English as a separate subject, at either 10th or 12th standard or in the Degree programme conducted by a recognized Board/University.
Note 1: Those appearing in eligibility educational qualification examination are also eligible to apply provided they meet all the
eligibility criteria and produce the certificates to that effect.
Note 2: The candidates with three year Diploma from a recognized polytechnic are also eligible for making application for the entrance
test as the three-year polytechnic Diploma is equated with 10+2 examination and accordingly their PCM aggregate in the Diploma programme shall not be less than 55%.
Age Limit: Not more than 25 years. The age limit is relaxable by 2 years in case of female candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Application procedure: The Student Handbook and Prospectus can be obtained from IMU Chennai on payment of Rs.800/- in cash (Rs.450/- for SC / ST candidates). It can also be downloaded from IMU website i.e. http://www.imu.tn.nic.in . It can also be obtained by POST by sending Demand Draft for Rs.800/- drawn in favour of IMU and payable at Chennai by addressing your request to the Head-Nautical Science Department, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai 600 119.
The duly filled in application should reach in an envelope super scribed “Application form for Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc. (Nautical Science)” to the Head (Nautical Science) IMU, Chennai.
